my Vis Com final-poster

hi,
this is my final project for Vis Communication..
i was trying to create a poster relate to the subject of environmental polution..
we all know water is the second important resource to human to keep our lives, but does anyone care about what actually we feed ourselve everyday? and how the universe responds to us?-"what we give out, what we get back"... so i use it as my concept for this poster, and hope you guys will like it.
Welcome to give me some suggestion!

VisComFinal

Here it is. Honestly this has been one of the more difficult assignments. I couldnt for the life of me come up with an Idea. This is the idea I went with. Its kinda like how branding and how corporations aare kinda taking over everything and the pieces themselves are losing all meaning. I used the picture of the Last Supper because it kinda sybolizes how nothing is sacred when it comes to commercialism.

poster

Hey guys, hope you're all having a nice holiday! I'm stuck in Calgary with no access to photoshop or illustrator so I thought I'd do a linoleum print cause I always wanted to try it. I wanted to keep it simple so I copied the Shigeo Fukada "Victory 1945" poster (yellow one), which was made in protest to the Vietnam war in 1976 and I thought it would be relevant today. Halfway through I realised that I forgot to invert the drawing of the gun and bullet on the linoleum so the gun points the opposite way, but after thinking about it I thought it worked because I get a less optimistic feeling it being pointed the other direction. Basically I just reversed everything, hoping the maintain the anti war message but giving it a less optimistic feel because it refers to the start of a war instead of the end of a war, like the original did. I dunno, I hope it works, sometimes I look at it and I get a little sense that the meaning could be misinterpreted. See you guys monday, enjoy your weekend!
