Farmageddon

sup guys... i hope you all are haven a great time during our much deserved break...
i just wanted to drop my social issue piece off to get your opinions on it... I wanted to touch on the issue of GM food (Genetically Modified Food). I think this is an issue that people know little or nothing about, but it effects all of us and especially our children. There are more and more GM foods found on the shelves of supermarkets every year and yet these modified foods have not been fully tested and no body can proof that these foods are no harm to humans. The reason why i wanted to single out Monsanto, was because i believe they are by far the most evil corporation out there. This is the company that creates the chemicals that get pumped into vegetables and cows. Not only are they a threat to the public but they are also a threat to cattle as well who are pumped full of steroids and live horrible lives. But most importantly, through the hormonized milk filled with infections from the cows, due to steroid consumption, Monsanto is a direct enemy of children who drink this contaminated milk every morning. Although this milk is thankfully banned in Canada, in the US it is still on the market through lobbying.
I think GM food have the potential to do alot of good for the world, however just like everything else there is a good way of doing somthing and there is a bad way of doing something. Unfortunately, our food is being hijacked by the wrong people, who could care less about starving children and care only about their greedy self interests. At our current situation, the idea that GM food will cure world hunger is totally false, since through issues of intellectual property rights, these food that are supposed to be available for everyone have become more and more expensive. The reality is that starving people in the world are not starving because there is not enough food but rather they simply cant afford it.
i think i can improve this poster, I am worried that if people dont know Monsanto, they will not understand the poster. What do u guys think. Is there a way i can fix that. I wa thinkin about creating a GM foods logo and add the tag line " wisper sweet nothings, for a sweeter orange."
Anywayz, ill leave you guys with a quote from Gandhi for you to think about.
"There's enough on this planet for everyone's needs but not for everyone's greed"

hey jeff,
nice work, pulls you in as an authentic ad right away.
i had a little trouble seeing the ear in the orange at first, thought it was a growth, but then I saw it and it made sense, maybe just some shading on it would make it jump out. it crazy that you got the same texture and even the highlights, i dunno how you did it. other than that I think it works, I'd like to see you do one on the cows and milk thing too, that could produce some nice results.
